The Stoney Creek Web Design website was built to be as accessible as possible to a wide assortment of visitors, with consideration given to their potential disablity or impariment. To achieve that end, this site complies with W3C standards.

We are proud to say that this complies with all of the automatic checkpoints of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - up to and including Priority 2 level. We continue to working hard to satisfy all Priority 3 checkpoints as well.
One small issue with our contact form is keeping us from obtaining the Prioity 3 rating. Without boring you with details, we don't feel that implementing the one feature that is lacking will afford much in the way of accessibility. We do feel that it will detract from the look of the page, however. That being said, we are happy to have satisified Priority 2 standards and be very close to the Priority 3 approval.
This website was designed to comply with the minimum standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. It complies with all Priority 1 and Priority 2 guidelines of the W3C. We are working hard toward making the site Priority 3 valid as well, but it's hard work and will take us a bit more time to accomplish.

All pages on this website are constructed and structured using standard semantic markup. This goal is achieved by using H1 tags for main titles and H2, H3 and H4 tags for less important titles or for subtitles.
This website is constructed using Skip Links at the top of each page. These links are immediately accessible to assist the user in navigating to critical areas of the current page or website.
The content images used on this website included the required ALT attribute. If the image is purely decorative the null ALT attribute is used. If an image serves a greater function there is an inline descriptions which serve to assist non-visual readers in their understanding of the context of the image.
This website uses font sizes that can be adjusted by each visitor using the "text-size" feature of most modern browsers.
